Hunters Ridge Boarding Kennel   strives to give your dog the most comfortable, enjoyable, and playful vacation while you are away.  Dogs and their owners come from all over North Western North Carolina  for our attention to detail, impeccable cleanliness, quality grooming, and the most experienced staff in the mountains.

 

Your dogs will enjoy three separate areas:

• Heated or air-conditioned kennels
• Large, outdoor play yard

Hunters Ridge Kennel  charges by the calendar day. Our days start and end at 12 noon. If you bring your pet in before noon you will not be charged until noon for that day.  If you pick up your pet after 12 noon you will be charges for another days stay.  

Baths include: Nail Trimming, Shampoo, Conditioner, full brush out, and ears cleaned if necessary. We use natural, detergent-free Spa Shampoos and Conditioners.

 

Vaccinations required for Dog Boarding

RABIES

Must be current, within the last 3 years.

DHLPP

Must have been given within the last year.

BORDETELLA

Good for 6 months, we recommend it being given intranasal at least one week before coming in.

Please note: Corona vaccine is no longer required for boarding.

Dogs will love to run and play in our secure 1/2 acre Play Pals Park. There's enough room for even groups of greyhounds to stretch their legs. Our TLC playtime sessions give your dog the extra personal attention and playtime that make a vacation one to remember.

Group play is available for the social dogs and individual walks can be reserved for those that prefer to see the area.

Do you have a outdoor dog that you need to board but don't want to pay for indoor boarding. Our new totally out door kennel are just the thing. These spacious 6x12 kennel features automatic waters, igloo dog houses, covered roof and double fencing for your pets safety. All within our 6' perimeter fence.   Ask for it today.

TLC (Play Time)

Playtime in our large park is $5.00 each session or $7 for 2X daily. TLC for two dogs (same family) is $7.00 or $9 for 2X daily. Play time lasts for around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the dogs, and is always supervised.

TLC (Special Care)

Additional charges of $4.00 a day are applicable for special feeding, geriatric dogs, and puppies.
