Training and Behavior Modification

At Hunters Ridge, we specialize in training for the family dog. As a leader in dog care in the Sparta area, we provide professional consultation regarding every aspect of bonding between you and your dog. From helping you select the appropriate breed for your lifestyle to troubleshooting common behavior problems, Hunters Ridge has a personalized program for you!

We offer:

Basic Obedience Classes which address the commands "sit, down, come, stay and heel" as well as problem behaviors. Group Sessions are offered for socialization purposes or you may choose Private Sessions for more individualized training. House Calls are also available.

For busy dog owners or for those dogs requiring more intense training, we offer an In-House Program in which we train your dog and then teach you to give and enforce commands. Since we do all the training, it is guaranteed!

Cost is $20.00 /hour for private sessions

6 week basic program is $100.00
